⚠️ Travel Advisory – Emergency Travel Only Recommended ⚠️Wheatland County Emergency Management, the Wheatland County Sheriff’s Office, the Wheatland County Road Department, and the Montana Department of Transportation are recommending emergency travel only on all highways and county roads at this time.Visibility across the county is extremely limited, and snow continues to accumulate rapidly. Plow crews are actively working, but they are struggling to keep up with the ongoing snowfall and drifting. If you do not absolutely need to be on the road, please stay home and avoid travel until conditions improve. Limiting traffic allows road crews to work more effectively and helps reduce the risk of stranded motorists and crashes. If you must travel, make sure you are prepared with winter gear, extra clothing, food, water, and a fully charged phone.
